Walk, jog, explore, and picnic within Bajamar’s 1500 acres and along its 4 mile Pacific shoreline.

Schedule massages and facials at your residence in Bajamar with Maribel Gonzalez, Swedish Massage Therapist (045-664-222-5186), or head out to spas at the famous Rosarito Beach Hotel or Ensenada’s elegant Hotel Coral.

Dine at fine restaurants at Bajamar (Dos Lagos at the Bajamar Hotel), at La Mision (La Fonda, La Mision, La Palapa de Jose and Poco Cielo), and in Ensenada (El Rey Sol, Punta Morro, Sano’s Steakhouse, El Embotelleria Viejo at Santo Tomas Bodegas, Hotel Coral, Las Esquinas, El Cid, Casamar, Haliotos, etc.).

Shop Ensenada’s walking street, Avenida Lopez Mateos (a big attraction for cruise ship passengers).

Taste wine and tour the Guadalupe Valley bodegas and vineyards.  This is Mexico’s best wine-growing region, about 20 miles from Bajamar.  Monte Xanic, Domecq, Santo Tomas, L.A. Choose from the incredible variety of fresh fish at Ensenada’s open air market.

Plan day trips to:

San Felipe on Baja’s eastern coast (Sea of Cortez) -- 4 hour drive.  Always warmer!

San Diego (the world-famous zoo, Coronado Island, etc.)

Tijuana (shopping, bull fights, Jai-Alai, the home of Caesar salads, etc.).

Visit La Buffadora, a spectacular blow hole, about ten miles south of Ensenada.  Picnic along the highbluffs.
